Muzo is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our mobile application, Muzo (the "App"), and the associated server services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide you with a personalized, seamless music experience. The types of data we collect include:
A. Account Information
Sign-Up Details: When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and password. Passwords are encrypted/hashed securely.
B. User-Generated Content & Listening History
- Playlists & Favorites — We store your custom-created playlists and liked tracks ("Favorites") on the server so you can access them across multiple devices.
- Playback History — We keep a log of recently played tracks to support the "Recently Played" history feature.
- User Uploads — When you use the "My Uploads" feature to upload audio tracks, those files are stored securely on our servers to allow you to stream them on your devices.
C. Local & Cached Data
Downloads: Audio files cached or downloaded for offline playback are stored locally on your device's filesystem. We do not upload these offline download files to our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information solely to:
- Authenticate your identity and maintain your user session.
- Synchronize your favorites, playlists, and uploads across your logged-in devices.
- Provide and optimize the music streaming and playback functionality.
- Deliver offline caching capabilities.
3. Data Protection and Security
We treat the security of your data with the highest priority:
- No Selling of Data: We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data or listening history with any third-party advertisers or data brokers.
- No Inspection of Private Data: We do not read, view, or inspect your private files or listening information.
- Data Encryption: All data stored on our servers, including user profile details, database contents, and uploads, is fully encrypted both in transit (via secure HTTPS connections) and at rest on our databases and storage.
- Access Control: Access to server systems and databases is strictly restricted to secure API endpoints.
5. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You retain full ownership and control of your data:
- Data Access & Modification: You can update your account information (username, avatar, etc.) directly in the App.
- Account Deletion: You can request the complete deletion of your account at any time. Upon deletion, all of your associated favorites, playlists, uploads, and profile details will be permanently removed from our servers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within this document with an updated "Last Updated" date.
